Digikam upstream is planning OpenCV 5 support in "late 2026" according to 
"Future Plans" in last release announcement

Historically, the late-year digikam releases tend to be in December.

What is the schedule for obsoleting OpenCV 4 in Debian?  It would be 
convenient to have OpenCV 4 in Debian for another six months to a year.
