What all is upgraded to kde 3.4, and what source did you use for the packages?
Right now, kde in unstable is uninstallable. Only kdelibs is at 3.4.2, and
the rest is at 3.3.2.
My guess is that you have installed kdelibs-data from unstable and it is at
version 4:3.4.2-1. Check with this:
dpkg -s kdelibs-data | grep Version
If this is the case, you should read bug #323747 and downgrade kdelibs-data to
whatever version of kdelibs4 you have on your system.
