that would be awesome but… Kaidan has a dependency on Qt 5.12, KF5 5.67 and we
only have 5.11 and 5.54 in stable… See [1], [2], [3], [4].
[1] https://sources.debian.org/src/kaidan/0.6.0-2/CMakeLists.txt/
[2] https://tracker.debian.org/media/packages/k/kaidan/control-0.6.0-2
[4] https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/qtbase-opensource-src
[3] https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/kirigami2
So that would require backporting Qt, the whole set of KF5 packages (more than
100 IIRC) and check that we don’t break anything in the KDE stack (from
experience this is unlikely, there are a lot of corner cases on top of even
normal library ABI changes which makes than impractical) or also upgrade that.
And then let’s call it Neon. ;)
For the record I’ve notified upstream about my/our plans to ship Kaidan for
bullseye and they were receptive, to the point of considering a long term
support branch if that was useful to us (no guarantee, no commitment, just
discussion so far).
Besides that a 0.7.0 should be coming very soon that we can probably cram into
bullseye.

If that’s of any use of course. Is it for getting the package on the team’s
DDPO or/and anything else ?
If you’re interested in getting commit rights to the repo feel free to ping me
in private, I’ll give you access.

Thanks ! Appreciated.
Happy hacking,
