Thanks for all your good work on this.  My involvement is just doing uploads 
for Yifei so I'm happy with anything that works for him.

I wish more people would do this.  Having hundreds of megs of git data for 
stuff that will never be changed in Debian is annoying.  There seems to be a 
trend of people thinking that putting all the source in git is the only way to 
go which leads to lots of group maintained packages getting it.
