As an AMD stockholder it truly baffles me; and as a NeXT/Apple engineering alum I am surprised that Raja didn’t chew ass and make sure their new GPGPUs were supported in the actual software stack their entire software future depends upon.

Two lousy lines of code. I’m glad you tracked it down and I was a pain in the ass for pointing it out.
