Package: cmst
Hello,
Under Debian 8 Sid 32bits with LXDE i updated yesterday my system.
On the next reboot i got the following error by cmst:
CMST: Unable to create an interface to connman on the system bus.
CMST will not be able to communicate with connman.
As a result , my wifi was dead and not able to get connected to my home
wlan (i'm using rtl8723se on laptop).
Looking at apt log, a lot of libqt5 libs in which cmst depends on have been
upgraded yesterday.
It is not clear to me if i should file this bug as a cmst bug or as a
libqt5 bug.
In any case i didn't try to operate connman by command line to verify if i
can establish a wifi connection.
I noticed though that packages libgnutls30 and libxtables11 which connman
depends on, have also been upgraded yesterday.
As a workaround i succeed to connect in my wifi network by purging connman
(but not cmst) and editing my /etc/network/interfaces file according to
Debian Wiki Command Line Section (https://wiki.debian.org/WiFi/HowToUse) .
Maybe i should reinstall connman and use a different tool than cmst or
manage connman by command line to verify if connman works ok - not tried
yet.
Regards
George V.
