Just be sure, that aspell supports all required (which is pretty ambiguous
word in this context) languages -- for a long times its coverage was rather
uneven. For example, it was not able to generate words from common root,
which is absolutely essential for Czech language, otherwise you have to
have in a dictionary cca 4.5 million words (which happened in some unnamed
distributions, which just decided "we switch to aspell whatever happens" --
Czech dictionary had 65MB).

Situation with Czech is OK these days, but I don't know anything about other
languages.
