Don't do it for the random user, do it for yourself!

Just consider the time required to file a hacky bug, then consider the
time it took to close this bug (not to mention the time we already
spent discussing about it) and the ones that will come while MATE is
in the messy state it is in testing right now.

People file those hacky bugs not because they are personal assistants
or anything like that, they do it because it's practical to do so.

Of course, as you point out and I fully agree, the underlying problem
is in Britney, who only checks for Depends and not for Build-Depends,
but unless we are going to fix Britney, the hacky bugs can help in the
meantime.
