Thanks a lot for the offer but I'm not a MATE user myself.

I came here because of my personal "dpkg-buildpackage -A" project:

A bunch of MATE packages entered testing today, my autobuilder tried
to build them and they were unbuildable, so the natural thing was to
look for similar or related bugs first.

Let's hope that this is solved in a matter of days.
