Same as with caja-image-converter, I recommend reporting this issue upstream [1].

Also, if you're particularly interested in these features, you could fork the code, make
the suggested changes and open a pull request on github. The fastest way to get wishlist
bugs like this one resolved is actually doing the work yourself.

It's open source software, after all.
