Bug#855518: mate-panel plugin window-list does not list well not fith on the bar when are vertical

i have panels configured to roientation in vertical, but when are in
vertical the window-list plugin does not organized wel the windows
icons/list and goes to try to put in two lines and one line constantly
making unusabe to select with mouse any other window

how to reproduce: change orientation to vertical and then open various
windows.. configure to not group the windows, when window list are too
much the panel got crazy and are unusable
