getting mate 1.20 and transferring the mailing list from alioth to lists.debian.org

Dear all,

Are there any plans on updating/upgrading mate from the current 1.18.x
to 1.20.x

Also are there any plans afoot to have the alioth pkg-team shut and
moved to lists.debian.org or the debian.net infrastructure .

Looking forward to the new release, specifically the part about -

A-n-d for distro maintainers we’ve bumped the minimum GTK3+ and GLib
requirements.

    GTK 3.22 and GLib 2.50 or newer are required to build MATE Desktop 1.20.
