Bug#747810: mate-terminal: clicking on tab can prevent input

Package: mate-terminal
Version: 1.8.0+dfsg1-2
Severity: normal

Steps to reproduce:

* Open mate-terminal.
* Open several tabs.
* Click on another tab.
* Notice that that tab is now active.
* Notice that the cursor in that terminal blinks.
* Click the tab name again.
* Notice that the cursor becomes outlined.
* Try to type some text.
* Notice that no input is received.

I expect that clicking on the tab name a second time does not cause the
terminal to lose keyboard focus.

There is never a time when I am interested in the terminal tab label
having focus. However, it is fairly common that I might click on a tab
for a second time and then start typing, not realizing that what I'm
typing is not being input into the shell.
