Package: mate-panel
Version: 1.8.0+dfsg1-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?

I use Orca, a screen reader, exporting gail:atk-bridge GTK_MODULES. I'm blind.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

I pressed alt-f1, and have not the title of the menu where I come. I need to
open it pressing the down arrow key to know the menu (software menu). However,
when I switch between the 3 menus (software, system and directories menu), the
title of the menu is spoken.

The same, when I press alt-tab, holding them, Orca doesn't read the title of
the window. To know it, I need to re;ease alt-tab and listen, or doing a
specific request to Orca.

Finally, when I switch to another workspace, Orca never says where I am
(Space 1, 2, 3 and 4).

It worked on gnome2.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

Orca stays quite when I do alt-f1, when I hold alt-tab or when I switch between
workspaces.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

Orca should read the title of the workspace, of the window,
of the menu. It likely is due to a 7rong info sent to at-spi.

Thanks
