Thanks for reporting this issue.

It is related to upstream code (not Debian packaging specifically) so it 
would be most helpful if you can report this issue directly upstream 
yourself - and then report back here the upstream issue number when 
created.  If that's ok with you, then please go ahead and report it at 
https://github.com/matrix-org/pantalaimon/issues
