[Pkg-mozext-maintainers] Upgrading debian-buttons and joining the webext-team on salsa

I want to upgrade the debian-buttons add-on to the latest upstream 
version, which is based on web-extensions. (I am also upstream).

The package I have mostly works, except that the button appears on the 
toolbar only after the *second* restart of firefox. IOW, one has to:

 - quit firefox
 - install webext-debian-buttons
 - start firefox
 - quit & restart firefox  (extra)

Any clues what am I doing wrong?

Additionally, please add me to the webext-team group on salsa so I can 
push my work where it belongs. (fwiw I was a member of pkg-mozext on 
alioth).
