somewhat. I've had success with importing an orig tarball in gzip and
bz2 format. I don't think it handles multiple orig tarballs yet. Also,
I don't know if git-buildpackage knows to make an orig tarball from
anything other than a tar.gz delta. Aside from that, I could clone a
git tree and do git-buildpackage that had the patches in the git tree,
with a gzip pristine tar.
