Yes, all is fine. Please upload to unstable as soon as they released 
0.5. Has upstream already provided a timeline for the 0.5 release?

After the release we would have to switch the versioning scheme to 
something like 4:0.5-1 for the initial release or 4:0.5+svn2009xxyy-1 
for later snapshots. Agreed?
