Like others, I feel that a regular IRC meeting would cover a lot of
ground already, so I'm all for it.

Of course having a live meeting would be great though, and involving
both Debian and Ubuntu multimedia maintainers/developer is a very good
idea. The Linux Audio Conference sounds like a good candidate in that
sense.

So I propose to start with IRC meetings first and see how it goes.
