Is this purely what you expect from Michael, or did you find anything in his
mail that made you believe it was written in a biased way?
(I ask because I was impressed how unbiased he wrote the message - I wouldn't
have been able to after what has happened.)

This is of course true - the reason for the failed takeover and subsequent fork
was a personal vendetta against the main contributor and maintainer of FFmpeg -
but the presented reasons were predominantly technical ones.
And while for me, the non-technical reasons are much more important than
security issues, bug fixes and features, I would have expected that here
technical reasons would outweigh the non-technical ones.

I am not sure how this can be answered - so far, I have not seen a single public
apology from the "new team".
