This issue alone certainly doesn't warrant a stable update. If if turned 
out that there are other bugs that justify a stable upload, then it 
might make sense to fix this bug together with them. On the other hand, 
fiddling with conffiles is a risky business, so it's probably not worth 
the trouble.

In theory, for anything newer than wheezy, getting rid of the obsolete 
conffile (that remained after squeeze->wheezy upgrade) should be a 
matter of bumping version in the mv_conffile call. But again, it's 
certainly not a no-risk change.

My personal preference would be to keep it open and tag +wontfix, but 
this is of course your call.
