Hi Breno,

thank you for your patch regarding allowing libav to build on
debian/ppc64el in Debian.

What is the problem? Doesn't ppc64el in Debian support altivec at all?

It seems Ubuntu doesn't disable altivec at all:

In fact, it seems in ubuntu the package builds with altivec just fine:

Why is that?
