Audacity 2.0.6 bug in Debian

Hi,

I am experiencing the problem I detail below with Audacity 2.0.6, for which
I already contacted the Audacity team. They think it is a Debian related
problem, as Audacity does not support building with wxWidgets v. 3* yet,
while Audacity 2.0.6 build in Debian requires libwxgtk3.0-dev (actually,
mine is built with wxWidgets 3.0.2)

The problem:
when I rename a track I can input letters only if they are not keyboard
shortcuts to audacity. In that case the command associated to the shortcut
is executed (eg. "p" results in pause, "space" plays the track). The focus
is to the input window and letters not associated to shortcuts correctly
appear in the input mask (eg. "n" or "i").
What I do is click the track menu in the window of the track (where the
name of the track is), choose "Name..." this opens an input panel, asking
"Change track name to:" . The problem occurs when I type in the input field
of that window.

Platform: Debian GNU/Linux stable/testing amd64
Source downloaded through Debian package manager and compiled on my system
Window manager: DWM

I hope there is an easy fix.
Thanks,

    Davide
