My opinion is that we should make a consensus how to handle .pc/ and
document it on our wiki:
https://wiki.debian.org/DebianMultimedia/DevelopPackaging
I don't have strong opinion on this ... postclone works for me and it is
only solution I knew at the moment.
gitignore file disappears when I import new upstream version :(
