Simple query causes server to crash:
mysql> select b'';
ERROR 2013 (HY000): Lost connection to MySQL server during query

This bug is reported here:
http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=35658
and vendor patched, but mysql-server v.5.0.32-7etch6 is affected.
