This bug report is a copy of #578403. The bug was fixed in version 0.8.0-1.2
which is currently in squeeze. The backport is simply out of date.
For further reference, problems that only affect the backported package (and
not the one in testing) should be reported to the backports mailing list (see
http://backports.debian.org/Instructions/#index5h2 ). I have sent a copy of
this message there.
I will also close this bug report in a separate mail.
