great stuff so far!!
unfortunatelly I had not been able to compile as a mysql-server is
already running on the box I've tried compiling.. gonna try it somewhere
else

there are still several places where mysql-5.1 is used
I've attached a diff I've prepared that should replace remaining -5.1
segments as I do not have bzr write access
