Hi,

I read from README.Contributor and do these steps

sudo apt-get install git-buildpackage

gbp clone https://salsa.debian.org/mariadb-team/mariadb-server.git

cd mariadb-server/

sudo mk-build-deps -r -i debian/control -t "apt-get -y -o
Debug::pkgProblemResolver=ye
s --no-install-recommends"

Then buildpackage:

gbp buildpackage

gbp:error: You have uncommitted changes in your source tree:
gbp:error: On branch debian/latest
Your branch is up to date with 'origin/debian/latest'.

Untracked files:
(use "git add <file>..." to include in what will be committed)
        mariadb-10.6-build-deps_10.6.4-1_amd64.buildinfo
        mariadb-10.6-build-deps_10.6.4-1_amd64.changes

nothing added to commit but untracked files present (use "git add" to
track)

gbp:error: Use --git-ignore-new to ignore.
and

gbp buildpackage --git-ignore-new

Will give this error:

gbp:error: mariadb-10.6.4 is not a valid treeish
