I had a talk with Marc on IRC and we decided that it would be the best way to
remove Nagios2. If nobody has any big objections I would follow the following
plan:

- Announce the removal on d-d-a on wednesday.
- At the weekend I would prepare any auxilary package for nagios3. (I'm
already in contact with Hendrik Frenzel (maintainer of nagiosgrapher and
other nagios related packages)) so the we can upload them in a coordinated
way on in the next week.
- Ask ftp-master for removal of nagios2 and all related packages.
- Be happy with Nagios3
- Maybe there should be some kind of bug triaging on nagios2 with reassigning
all still relevant bugs to Nagios3 (HINT: I need help here!).

Are there any objections to that plan? Did I missed anything?

Thanks for your support

Alex
