[Pkg-nagios-devel] Bug#503944: Why nagiosgrapher depends on nagios3 ?

Hello,

I'm throttling with this problem too. And I don't understand why
nagiosgrapher depens an nagios3 too, because nagiosgrapher is
an independent tool and can used by nagios 1.x, 2.x and icinga. We are
monitoring our system with icinga and want to use the nagiosgrapher to
graph the performance data. Installing from external is no choice in
production environment, and installing nagios3 isn't a choice too (too much
dependency and where are lucky with icinga).

Is there any chance, that the nagios3 dependency will be removed in near
future?
