The package failes to install with:

dpkg: yes, will deconfigure nagios-plugins-basic (broken by nagios-plugins-common).

De-configuring nagios-plugins-basic ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/nagios-plugins-common_1.4.15-6_amd64.deb (--unpack):
 trying to overwrite '/usr/share/nagios-plugins/dpkg/functions', which is also in package nagios-plugins-basic 1.4.15-5
