I have seen mythtv and folding at home segfault and general protection
fault myself, although I never thought it might be the nvidia driver.
Could be though.

I am currently experimenting with packaging 173.08 so perhaps that will
help (if nothing else it compiles cleanly against 2.6.25 so that's an
improvement).
