No need to backport, you can just install the version from unstable - it
has the same dependencies as the backport, and I couldn't see anything
in the changelog that would indicate a problem.
Apart from the ia32-libs stuff above, backporting the driver requires
at least reverting part of r828, because after that, it breaks
xserver-xorg-core (<< 2:1.6). I have it a try yesterday and it worked,
but I'm sure I missed some stuff.
