[pkg-nvidia-devel] Bug#585862: nvidia-kernel-dkms: dkms does not automatically rebuild nvidia module for newly installed kernel

I installed the nvidia-195.36.24 package using kernel 2.6.32-3 in squeeze. Shortly after installing, dkms automatically built the module for that kernel.

Unfortunately, upon upgrading to kernel 2.6.32-5, xorg crashes with an error saying that no nvidia kernel module is installed for that kernel.

Basically dkms is not really automatically building and installing the newer module
