The concern that I had about this, and sorry I'm a little slow on
responding to mail, is whether it will break X startup if you don't have
an nvidia card, since the X server will try to initialize the device
because it's in the configuration and not find a device. But I haven't
tested; maybe it's smart enough to just skip that stanza now if the device
doesn't exist?
