Yes, please go ahead.  I didn't see anything that looked like a problem;
I'm just very short on time.  I think it would be great for you to just
commit your patches directly.  It's all a substantial improvement over
what we have there now, and it's always easy enough to fix things later if
there are any problems.

I'm leaving Sunday for a conference but I'll try to get some more uploads
done before then, and will hopefully be mostly on-line next week from the
conference.
