This is eventually a separate issue and should be tracked in its own bug
report.

OK, retitling and reassigning back to xterm. Let's focus on this issue
and the non-nvidia setup for now.

Please use reportbug to give followup info to this bug from the intel
machine, so that it can recollect system information there.
