If you have a reasonably recent GPU (that does not require a legacy
driver), just install nvidia-glx. It will pull in all the other packages
you might need.
You need to install the kernel headers of your running kernel, too.

275.09.07-3 should be on the mirrors or moving there - I already got it
from my mirror this morning.
