nvidia-glx woes

Wouldn't 275.09.07-1 making it into Testing without the benefit of the new 
glx-alternatives scheme result in the same problems (trigger the removal of 
most of KDE and a few other packages if one tries to keep the NVidia packages) 
as it currently does in Unstable?
