That time I had tested the problem (oops when loading a moduled linked
by gold) again and could no longer reproduce it.

Thanks for testing this in detail. Could you try the binutils-gold from
stable, too?
Is there a message in dmesg about the module being loaded?

OK, I'll reinstate the conflicts in the next upload.

I'm looking for someone who can help me with comparing the kernel
modules produced by traditional ld and gold. Eventually we can give the
binutils developers some insight when we can show them what is wrong.
