Can you reproduce this problem with a free driver, e.g. nouveau? The
backtrace does not mention nvidia at all but evdev_drv.so, so this may
be unrelated to nvidia.

Also the combination of Xserver 1.11.1 with nvidia drivers currently
does not work well (massive slowdowns have been reported). You might try
to downgrade to Xserver 1.10.4, see
