I'm using KDE and upgrading to the 302.xx driver fixed an issue after logging out
and back in again, which caused rendering issues in both Iceweasel and Dolphin
(black backgrounds, causing things to become unreadable).
It was not hard to 'fix' (logging out, restarting X, logging in) for me (using
Sid for years), but I don't expect Stable users to figure that out/apply the
'fix'.
And if I'm not mistaken there have been quite a few bugs wrt to 295.xx reported
to BTS and a number of them seemed to be fixed with 302.xx (but you probably know
better).

Is there a chance that nvidia could make the 302.xx series a/the Long Lived
Branch?
I don't know how/why nvidia decides which series to make into a long lived
branch, but I wouldn't be surprised that being part of Debian Stable could help.
Other then that, keep up the good work, it's much appreciated!
Cheers,
