Blender 3D losing support for older CUDA

Dear package maintainers,

I work a lot with Blender 3D, enough that it is of interest for me to
build the latest development releases from git. However, recently
they've decided to pull support for the older versions of CUDA, which is
used in GPU based rendering.

It is of course possible to manually build it, but I just wanted to make
whomever it may concern aware that the current version on the
repositories, 5.5, is outdated enough that upstream projects like
Blender that use CUDA are beginning to pull support for it.
