There's already a wishlist bug for a newer version of
nvidia-cuda-toolkit, #751522. My response ([1], which basically
amounts to a request for help) to this hasn't changed;
nvidia-cuda-toolkit 6.x is only going to be uploaded once someone
works on packaging it. That "someone" isn't going to be me, given that
I have no interest in CUDA myself and I'm already overloaded with
Debian-related work as-is.
