Thanks for the tip, that would actually be nicer.

Vincent, what about having the series file as a template, and omit that
patch if building on Ubuntu when generating it? This would avoid the
need for branching, but require more time to implement. I can have a
look tonight to do this, but if you prefer to revert immediately to fix
the problem sooner on Ubuntu that's fine by me.

Longer term, I'll try and have a solution that solves the problem on
both distributions. I believe the nvidia-uvm problem affects Ubuntu too,
but I didn't have time to test it myself yet.
