There is a new long-lived branch version available from NVidia: 346.35
http://www.nvidia.com/object/unix.html[1] 

A version greater than 346 is required for CUDA 7.0 RC, which is the version 
of CUDA that supports gcc 4.9, which is the default gcc version in Jessie.
