Here is CUDA 7.5 status update w.r.t the version 7 patch (from #89)

* [amd64]
  + passed build, even if ppc64el stuff are added into rules
  + list-missing was already checked
  + no lintian error

* [ppc64el]
  + build failed at dh_shlibdeps, due to the missing libcuda.so.1,
    which will be provided in anbe's nvidia-driver upload for ppc64el.
  + list-missing is not checked yet.

* Common:
  - EULA is not merged yet.
  - debian/rules is somewhat dirty.

It's fine if you just need the generated packages. i.e. the
version 7 patch could work for you.

The patch is based on the official upload of cuda 7.0.28-1,
and in order to build it locally you can just hack this file
into *.orig.tar.gz

  cuda-linux64-rel-7.5.18-19867135.run

which is contained in the .run ball of cuda 7.5.
My local amd64 build seems to be fine.

Please remember, if you're going to redistribute your
locally built cuda 7.5 packages, please make sure
debian/copyright is checked and updated ...   :-)
