Just try the 384.59 packaging that is prepared in SVN, branches/384,
this will save you a lot of work. It's a work in progress, the final
upload may be different (and may not support clean upgrades from
384.59-1~svnX builds).

The README.source is primarily intended for the package maintainers, but
it's not checked frequently :-)
We should probably prepend a paragraph about building bleeding edge
driver packages from SVN. (@Luca: if you do this, put it in branches/304
s.t. it will propagate everywhere :-)
