396 beta seems to drop i386, armhf and a bunch of devices

I've given a run to the 396 branch (both glvnd and non) and it seems to
work fine.

Were you planning more changes or is it ready for experimental?

There's a new game coming out today that requires 396 so it would be
good to have it uploaded :-) I can push it myself if you want.
