I hope to be ready at that time ... (and have done all the
(old)stable-pu stuff first).

But we need to find a solution for the tarballs. git-annex may be a
solution for large files (but I've never tried it). But we still need
some storage location ... 50+ GB (more like 70-100GB in 1-2 years), the
SVN repo is 41.4 GB right now, before committing CUDA 9.1 ;-)
